So it has been nearly a month since I last posted, I do have an update coming today. Lots of new things to report....for now while I write that post, here are some more recent layouts....
This week i will be entering for the first time a 'I Heart Faces' Challenge! I absolutely love reading this blog and seeing all the stunning photographs so I though 'Why not?!'
This week is Dramatic Black and White - here is my entry!
I will return with news and updates very soon - we are all still alive. But for now I'll leave you with some recent layouts.... (Most of these were done for challenges....I even won some prizes!)
Here is my 12 in 12 submission for this month. A pair of refashioned yoga pants for my little Anna. This month it was 'Something in Knit' (Darn Knit!)
Doesn't she looked please! lol! (And like she loves having her hair done!)
I took this Roxy top of mine that is to small now.....
Cut it into pieces......and ended up with this!
A little happier but still looks like no one owns her!
It has a roll over top. She does actually love them. They may turn in to the bottom half a PJ set I think as I was a little flustered when I sewed them and ended up needing to make quite a few adjustments here and there. And there was some unpicking along the way. All in all though happy with the outcome.
We dined on a super yummy Chinese dinner.....complete with Tinkerbell table wear. (Thanks guys..lol!)
My birthday card from my gorgeous nephew Caleb.....
Chocolate AND Caramel Mudcake!
(I kinda look pretty horrible here)
Special thanks to my Brother Daniel, my SIL Melissa, my loving children and of course the major person that was missing on the night, my Mum! (Mum is currently over in the Soloman Island for work but was definitely here in spirit!)
And I forgot so didn't get started until around 10pm!
Mitchell has library tomorrow. I wanted to make him a bag. Cost = nothing as I already had all the materials here.
Outer is black corduroy as well as the strap, lined with Thomas the Tank Engine. 'M' is also Thomas fabric ( but I guess the photo gives that away...lol). I also added two little blue snaps to keep it closed.
I took a few photos the other day of my GORGEOUS little nephew Caleb, here are some from the totally random shoot. (For you Mel and yes I am getting the disc for you :) lol... )
Carolyn over at My Favourite is doing a 12 in 12 and I decided to participate. January's project was 'Something for yourself'. I'm a day late posting this but better late than never hey! So I won't keep you waiting, here is my Madison Skirt....
I'm pretty happy with the outcome and I'm going to make another in a shorter length.
Cloth using, baby wearing, extended breastfeeding, co-sleeping, sewing, scrappin', knittin', cooking, BLOGGING Mum to 4 little ones including TWINS (one with Cerebral Palsy) born at 29 weeks in May 07.....this is our here and now....
